The Liem family has been devoted to the Phoenix area housing market since 1960.  It all began as Scott’s dad, Don Liem, joined a young homebuilding company that year and helped grow Knoell Homes into one of the largest homebuilding companies in Phoenix.  In 1975, Scott became involved in Knoell Homes as well and began a highly successful 10-year career selling new homes.

Scott used his successful new home sales career as a platform for transitioning into the land brokerage side of the home building business in 1986.  By 1990, Scott’s interest in and knowledge of residential land had expanded into a niche in the market of custom lot communities.

In 1999, Acacia Properties was created and quickly became a true family-run company devoted to developing and marketing premier custom lot communities with several land-owner partners and the marketing of residential properties. Acacia became a strong and talented team on a mission to create some of the finest custom home communities in the valley and Christy’s affinity for marketing custom homes is an integral compliment to the housing element of the communities.
